[Jakarta, Indonesia = Aulia Maulida Hamdani, Correspondent] Coway Indonesia is stepping up efforts to win over the local home appliance market by introducing a total water solution in Indonesia that covers everything from water purifiers to skin and hair care.
According to local media reports on the 28th, Coway Indonesia unveiled its "Slim Stand" water purifier and "Yeonsu" water softener at a pop-up exhibition held on the 27th at a shopping mall near Jakarta, Indonesia. The two products were developed in line with Coway's strategy to expand water solutions tailored to consumers' living environments and lifestyles.
Slim Stand is a water purifier focused on drinking water. It features a slim 26-cm-wide design, making it efficient even in homes with limited space. With a high-positioned water outlet and an adjustable tray, it is designed to accommodate containers of various sizes conveniently. It has also received Indonesian National Standard (SNI) certification. In addition, all Coway products sold in Indonesia have received Halal Certification.
Yeonsu is designed to expand water solutions into the self-care segment by focusing on everyday water use rather than drinking water. Through its water softener function, it reduces water hardness to provide softer water, and it can be used for showering as well as skin and hair care.
Jake Lee, head of Coway Indonesia, said, "Understanding what each household truly needs and delivering a better living experience is what 'A better daily life with Coway' means." He added, "Beyond products, we will provide differentiated services from consultation to installation and regular maintenance through a human ecosystem that connects Health Planners, Coway Technicians, and Cody."
