Seoul Arts Center and SBS Join Hands to Expand K-culture Globally

[Financial News] The Seoul Arts Center is expanding the emotional impact of culture and the arts into more people’s daily lives and around the world.
The Seoul Arts Center announced on the 28th that it signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with SBS on the 27th at SBS headquarters in Mok-dong, Seoul, to promote the global spread of Korean culture and the arts. The two organizations will work together to expand opportunities to enjoy culture and the arts and to promote the diversity and value of K-culture at home and abroad.
Under the agreement, they will air performance content from the Seoul Arts Center on SBS channels at home and abroad, expand cultural and arts content through broadcast networks and YouTube, and co-produce cultural and arts programs.
Chang Han-na, president of the Seoul Arts Center, said, "If the Seoul Arts Center’s expertise in planning and production meets SBS’s content production capabilities and domestic and international media network, it will create a 'stage without borders' where more people can enjoy art beyond the limits of time and space."
She added, "We will bring more emotion to people’s daily lives, broader possibilities to Korea’s culture and arts, and the depth and diversity of K-culture to the world."
Bang Moon-shin, president and CEO of SBS, said, "If the Seoul Arts Center’s high-quality stages and artists meet SBS’s power to spread content, we will be able to deliver the emotion of the performance hall to more people through broadcasting and digital platforms." He added, "We will introduce outstanding performance content on domestic and international channels and platforms, and we will also produce new cultural and arts programs together."
