Drunk Maserati Causes Six-Vehicle Pileup at Gangnam's Bangbang Intersection; Motorcycle Rider Dies

[Financial News] A driver who was behind the wheel of a Maserati after drinking caused a crash in the heart of Gangnam, Seoul, striking a motorcycle and several vehicles in succession and killing one person.
According to police and fire authorities on the 28th, the Maserati sedan collided with a motorcycle and other vehicles one after another at around 11:46 p.m. the previous day on a road near Nambu Bus Terminal station from Bangbang Intersection in Seocho District, Seoul.
The crash involved six vehicles in total: four passenger cars, including the Maserati, one city bus and one motorcycle. A taxi was also among the passenger cars.
A man in his 40s who was riding the motorcycle was taken to a hospital in cardiac arrest, but later died. Three other drivers sustained minor injuries.
Police arrested the Maserati driver, identified as A, at the scene on charges of drunk driving, saying he had been driving under the influence.
Police plan to question A to determine the exact circumstances of the crash.
