Seogwipo Education September Personnel Changes: 17 Vice Principals, Specialists and New Teachers Begin New Roles

[Financial News, Jeju Province = Jung Yong-bok] Seventeen vice principals, education specialists and new teachers who will lead schools in the Seogwipo area will take on new roles starting Sept. 1. As the personnel lineup changes from school administrators to education officials and new teachers, changes are also beginning at Seogwipo education sites in the new semester.
According to the Seogwipo City Office of Education on the 28th, a ceremony for the Sept. 1 personnel notices and appointment letters for education officials was held on the 27th in the first conference room of the office.
The recipients included seven vice principals promoted or transferred, five education specialists and five new elementary and middle school teachers, for a total of 17 people.
The vice principal appointments consisted of three elementary school promotions, one middle school promotion, two elementary school transfers and one middle school transfer. They will serve as mid-level managers at schools, overseeing curriculum operations and supporting staff. The five education specialists will also take on new posts and help connect schools with education administration.
The five new elementary and middle school teachers are taking their first steps into the teaching profession through this personnel change. The office said it plans to support them so they can settle into school life smoothly and put student-centered education into practice.
Kim Ji-hye, superintendent of the Seogwipo City Office of Education, emphasized the responsibility and roles needed in the field of education to the new appointees and new teachers.
Congratulating the vice principals, education specialists and new teachers on their new start, Kim urged them to "do their best to contribute their capabilities to building an education system in Seogwipo City based on empathy, new ideas and growth."
