[Financial News] KT held a job fair for about 350 trainees in the 9th cohort of KT Aivle School. In addition to theoretical training on artificial intelligence transformation (AX), the company is supporting participants' job search by offering programs that help them build practical skills, including projects linked with real companies, mentoring from industry professionals, and job fairs.
KT said on the 28th that 17 companies, including major KT affiliates and information and communications technology (ICT) firms, took part in the job fair held on the 27th at Sofitel Ambassador Seoul Hotel & Serviced Residences in Songpa District, Seoul, providing Aivle School trainees with recruitment consultations and information on companies and job roles.
The Seoul Regional Employment and Labor Office's Seoul Employment Welfare Plus Center also participated, introducing youth employment support programs.
KT Aivle School holds a job fair exclusively for trainees as they complete the six-month AX training program.
On the day, trainees visited company booths to receive advice on hiring procedures, the skills required for each role, and how to prepare for employment. They also met alumni who found jobs after graduating from Aivle School and heard about their job-search process and on-the-job experience.
"As industry demand for AX talent continues to grow, Aivle School is becoming a practical recruitment-linked program that connects companies with prepared young talent," said Sunjoo Lee, Senior Managing Director and head of talent at KT. "We will continue to organically connect industry sites with education so that young people can build practical skills in the digital field and enter society."
