Police University Police Law Center teams up with Korean Association of Police & Law to strengthen research and education on police law

[Financial News] The Police Law Center at KNPU will strengthen cooperation with the Korean Association of Police & Law in the fields of police law research and education.
The Police Law Center at KNPU announced on the 28th that it had signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the Korean Association of Police & Law to cooperate on research and education in police legislation.
The agreement was designed to broaden the scope of research and education in police law by combining KNPU's field-oriented, practical research on police legislation with the academic expertise accumulated by the Korean Association of Police & Law.
Under the agreement, the two organizations plan to pursue practical cooperation projects, including identifying joint research topics and sharing academic materials.
Son Jae-young, head of the Police Law Center at KNPU, said, "Through this agreement, we will present standards for police activities centered on the rule of law and human rights, and further strengthen a practical research system that contributes to the field."
Yoon Tae-young, president of the Korean Association of Police & Law, said, "We will work together to ensure that research results lead to institutional improvements and field operations for the development of future-oriented police legislation."
The two organizations also plan to continue follow-up cooperation, including a joint academic conference in November.
