Simmons Opens Flagship in Bangbae-dong, Puts Premium Mattresses Front and Center

[Financial News] Simmons is opening a 90-pyeong direct-run flagship store in Bangbae-dong, Seoul, and is targeting demand for premium bedding and wedding gifts in the Gangnam area.
According to Simmons on the 28th, the company opened Simmons Gallery Bangbae on the same day.
The store is located near Bangbae Cafe Street, the Seoul Arts Center and Seorae Village. Large residential complexes such as The H Bangbae and Raemian One Perla are also nearby.
The store adopts a 'Neighborhood Luxury' concept, which aims to deliver a premium brand experience in a familiar residential commercial district. Reflecting the atmosphere of Bangbae-dong's long-established neighborhood, it uses classic elements such as black and ivory tones, wainscoting and dark wood.
It also features the first 'Welcome Lounge' among Simmons galleries. Sofas and lockers have been placed there so customers can stay before trying out the mattresses.
At the center of the store, Simmons created a circular dome-shaped 'Technical Alley' so visitors can see the 'Advanced Pocket Spring' technology used inside the mattresses. At the entrance, the company also displayed a press machine once used in the 1930s to process metal materials for bedroom furniture.
The flagship mattress collection, Beautyrest, and the top-tier Beautyrest Black line can be experienced in a separate space. The store also showcases Beautyrest Black models such as Kelly, Deborah, Marion, Bridget and Lauren, along with a variety of bed frames.
