DPK housing market stabilization task force to be led by Han Jeoung-ae and Kwon Chil-seung

After the Supreme Council meeting at the INSPIRE Hotel in Incheon’s Yeongjong District on the 28th, Park Seong-jun, the chief spokesperson, told reporters, "Han, the secretary-general, and Kwon, the policy committee chair, will serve as co-heads of the Housing Market Stabilization TF."
On the same day, the Democratic Party of Korea finalized appointments to its ad hoc special committees. Kim Nam-hee and Lee Hae-sik will serve as co-heads of the Police Reform Promotion Team. Kim has represented vulnerable groups, including women, during the process of abolishing prosecutors’ supplementary investigative powers. Lee was appointed in recognition of his expertise as the ruling party’s secretary on the Security and Public Administration Committee of the National Assembly.
Lee Yong-seon was appointed standing chair of the Special Committee on the New Strategy for Peace on the Korean Peninsula. Oh Gi-hyoung will remain chair of the K-Capital Markets Special Committee. The science and technology special committee will be chaired by Choi Min-hee, while the health and medical special committee will be led by Yoon Kim. Park Jeong will head the China-U.S.-Japan party diplomacy promotion team, with Min Hong-chul and Hwang Hee serving as co-heads.
Additional appointments were also announced for the Mega Growth Special Committee, which is directly led by party leader Kim Min-seok. Lee Kwang-jae, chair of the Special Committee on Budget and Accounts of the National Assembly, was named senior vice chair, and Kwon joined as standing vice chair. Han Sang-ik, a former senior secretary for state affairs, will serve as co-secretary.
The Media Public Interest Strengthening TF will be led by Supreme Council member Choi Min-hee, with Noh Jong-myun serving as secretary. Yoo Dong-soo was appointed head of the 2027 Seoul World Youth Day Promotion Team, while Supreme Council member Jeon Yong-gi will serve as co-head.
