According to KORAIL on the 28th, the product consists of four cards and a dedicated case. Customers may buy up to three sets each, and the price is 26,000 won per set.
To mark the integration of high-speed rail services, the cards feature a coupled train with KTX-Sancheon and SRT connected as one, along with the symbolic colors of both trains. The sales volume was also set at 901 sets to match Sept. 1, the launch date of integrated operations.
The cards will be sold at six KTX stations nationwide, including the Travel Center at Seoul Station, the customer information center on the second basement floor of Suseo Station, the station office at Dongdaegu Station, and the ticket counters at Daejeon Station, Busan Station and Gwangju Songjeong Station.
Railplus is a prepaid transit card that can be used on subways, buses and taxis nationwide. It can also be used for payments at convenience stores and cafes.
Bae Jeong-yeol, head of KORAIL's metropolitan rail division, said, "We ask for your interest in this Railplus card, which commemorates the new beginning of a unified high-speed rail service."
