[Financial News] Le17Septembre, the contemporary womenswear brand operated by Hago Haus, is accelerating store openings to sustain its growth momentum.
According to Hago Haus on the 27th, Le17Septembre plans to open three new stores this month at Hyundai Department Store Pangyo Branch, Hyundai Department Store COEX Branch, and The Hyundai Seoul. It also plans to open three more stores by the end of the year, bringing the total to 12.
Le17Septembre continues to grow. Sales in the first half of this year rose 40% from a year earlier. Offline sales increased 42% over the same period, driving the stronger performance. Store sales account for 70% of total revenue, underscoring the brand's strong competitiveness in offline channels.
The brand is also delivering results nationwide, not just in the Seoul metropolitan area. Sales at Shinsegae Centum City Department Store rose 20% in the first half from a year earlier, while the Shinsegae Department Store Daegu Branch, which opened in June, posted first-month sales at 187% of its target. The company said the brand is also maintaining top-tier performance in the contemporary sections of major department stores.
Drawing on its experience nurturing brands such as Matin Kim and depound, Hago Haus is rapidly expanding Le17Septembre's customer touchpoints. By expanding its signature line and attracting new customers, the brand is also raising awareness.
An Hago Haus official said, "Offline stores are a core sales channel for the brand and a key point of contact with customers." The official added, "Based on thorough analysis of each commercial district, we will continue strategic new store openings and enhance the brand's standing by offering differentiated customer experiences."
