[Financial News] President Lee Jae-myung postponed the Senior Presidential Aides Meeting on the afternoon of the 27th and chaired an emergency meeting at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs building on the response to damage suffered by South Korean nationals in the Nepal floods. He said, "The whereabouts of nine of our citizens who were working at a hydroelectric power plant construction site in Nepal remain unconfirmed, and they appear to be in a very dangerous situation. Another 10 are stranded in a temporary shelter."
He then instructed officials to "work with the determination that there is no such thing as overreaction when it comes to protecting the lives and safety of the people, and do your utmost by mobilizing all available resources."
