[Financial News] Shinsegae Duty Free has opened a 'Wellness Center' on its online mall, bringing together health supplements, inner beauty products, body care items, and exercise and travel goods.
According to the industry on the 27th, the Shinsegae Duty Free Wellness Center carries 748 brands and more than 30,000 products. Following the 'K-beauty Center' launched in April, the company has expanded its online specialty sections into health and lifestyle categories.
The products are divided into 10 categories based on use rather than brand, including immune care, slim care, body care, smart care, living care, travel care, baby care, beauty home care, healing care, and active care.
It has also improved product search convenience. Customers can compare related items using keywords and browse customer reviews, duty-free exclusive special sets, and popular and new products by category. It has also set up a separate section for duty-free exclusive brands such as Amino Vital, DeSimone, Duo Lac, Pixit, and Litenclor.
Shinsegae Duty Free plans to target demand from both domestic and foreign customers, in line with the growing interest in K-beauty and K-wellness. In particular, it aims to expand duty-free shopping demand for health and self-care products among individual travelers from Asia.
A Shinsegae Duty Free official said, "Through the Wellness Center, we will make it easier and more convenient for customers to find products that fit their lifestyles, and we will expand new duty-free shopping demand for K-beauty and K-wellness."
