On the 27th, KFIA said it had signed a memorandum of understanding with WISESTONE on expanding AI certification and strengthening the competitiveness of the fintech industry.
The agreement covers cooperation in AI and software testing and certification, efforts to improve data quality and related certification, consulting and support to secure the technological reliability of fintech companies, and the identification and promotion of joint projects that leverage the expertise and networks of both organizations.
Based on the agreement, the two organizations plan to help fintech companies secure technological reliability and quality competitiveness in response to an industry environment where the use of AI and data is expanding. In particular, they intend to identify practical support measures needed by companies, including AI and software testing and certification, data quality, and related consulting for member firms, and turn them into concrete cooperative projects.
Kim Jong-hyun, chairman of KFIA, said, "As the use of AI and data is rapidly expanding across the fintech industry, securing the reliability and quality of technology is becoming even more important, not just developing innovative services." He added, "Through this agreement, we hope to connect WISESTONE's expertise in testing, certification, and data quality with the association's industry network to create cooperation that provides practical help to fintech companies." He also noted, "KFIA will continue to expand cooperation with various specialized institutions so that member companies can use new technologies more stably and strengthen their competitiveness."
