Under the agreement, KB Kookmin Bank will contribute KRW 2.5 billion in special donations and KRW 2.5 billion in guarantee fee support funds to KODIT. Using these funds, KODIT will provide KRW 175 billion in agreement-based guarantees.
The support targets include tenant companies in industrial complexes, companies operating in region-based industries, and companies in new growth engine industries.
KODIT plans to apply a 100% guarantee ratio for three years to companies eligible for the special donation-based guarantee program and reduce guarantee fees by 0.3 percentage points. Through the guarantee fee support program, it will also provide a 1.0 percentage point reduction in guarantee fees for two years.
A KODIT official said, "We hope this agreement will help industrial complex tenant companies secure funding more smoothly and ease their financial burden." The official added, "We will continue to expand financial support for outstanding manufacturing companies and balanced regional development."
