Hyundai Engineering and Construction to Supply 'Hillstate Songpa The Grid' in September

[Financial News] Hyundai Engineering and Construction will begin supplying the residential officetel 'Hillstate Songpa The Grid' in September at 909 Jangji-dong, Songpa District, Seoul. It is the first residential complex in Songpa·Wirye The Grid, a key development project in the Bokjeong Station smart city.
According to Hyundai Engineering and Construction on the 27th, the complex will consist of 10 buildings from four basement levels to 16 stories above ground, with a total of 1,393 units and exclusive areas ranging from 34 to 119 square meters. It will offer 57 unit types, targeting a broad range of buyers, from one- and two-person households and newlyweds to families.
The Bokjeong Station smart city is a large-scale mixed-use development project that will combine Songpa·Wirye The Grid and the Bokjeong Station transit center complex development around Bokjeong Station. Songpa·Wirye The Grid covers a site area of 219,000 square meters and a total floor area of about 1.66 million square meters. Once completed, it is expected to become an R&D hub with about 40,000 residents. The plan is to create a self-sustaining living zone by combining residential, business, and commercial functions.
Block 2 of Songpa·Wirye The Grid will house HMG Future Complex, Hyundai Motor Group's research base, which will focus on future technologies such as software-defined vehicles (SDVs), autonomous driving, and robotics.
Bokjeong Station, within walking distance of the complex, is served by the Suin–Bundang Line and Subway Line 8, while the Wirye Line tram is nearing opening. Nearby amenities include Garden 5, Starfield City Wirye, Samsung Seoul Hospital, and Wirye Station Waterfront Park.
As a residential officetel, the project does not require a subscription savings account or a points-based ranking, and there is no obligation to live there. Buyers can also retain their eligibility as non-homeowners when applying for apartments. The units will feature a 2.42-meter recessed ceiling, and a partitioned entrance, refrigerator, and induction cooktop will be provided as standard. Storage rooms for each household and parking for 1.19 vehicles per unit are also planned. Community facilities will include a fitness center, Pilates room, indoor golf practice range, sauna, and a small library.
A sales official at Hyundai Engineering and Construction said the company expects continued interest from buyers, citing the site's strong future growth potential and prime location driven by development around Bokjeong Station.
