Soop to Take Part in the 2026 Creator Media Festival

[Financial News] Soop will take part in the 2026 Creator Media Festival, which will be held at COEX Magok in Seoul on the 28th and 29th of this month. The company plans to offer a range of hands-on programs where creators and visitors can interact.
On the 27th, industry sources said Soop will showcase a variety of on-site content at the event, with its signature live-streaming genres of mukbang and cookbang at the center. The company plans to expand these formats, which have grown on Soop through real-time interaction between streamers and users, into offline experiences. Streamers will prepare and present food themselves, creating content that visitors can enjoy together with them.
Starting at 12 p.m. on the 28th, a food truck cookbang segment will feature streamer Ilhaneun Yonghyeong, a former Chinese cuisine chef, and guest Yoon Eun. The content is based on Yong Restaurant, a cooking studio operated by Soop and Ilhaneun Yonghyeong. At the venue, they will prepare and present Soop's signature dish, Soopbul Jjamppong, reimagined as a summer menu item called Soopbul Naeng Jjamppong.
On the 29th, streamer Yuchiddang and special guest Gyeowoody will present a variety of snack foods, including tteokbokki and fish cake. The menu will be offered free of charge to visitors, and the event will be run as an on-site experience where people can enjoy food and conversation together.
Beyond the food-focused content, a range of other on-site programs will be held throughout the day. From 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on both the 28th and 29th, visitors can take part in the Soop Event and win various prizes. From 1 p.m. to 3 p.m., Soop's popular streamers will roam around the venue as part of the Soop Exploration Team.
From 3 p.m. to 5 p.m., a tarot experience program with streamer Yagganparat will follow.
A Creator Welcome Consultation Zone will also be set up. Aspiring streamers who want to start broadcasting on Soop will receive one-on-one consultations with staff members. The company plans to provide a range of information needed for streaming activities, from broadcast registration to technical support.
