[Financial News] BMW Korea is rolling out promotions that ease the purchase burden across a range of models, while also seeking to raise ownership value through its unmatched after-sales service.
According to the industry on the 27th, BMW Korea has recently been applying financial products from BMW Financial Services Korea to key models, including the business sedan BMW 5 Series sedan and the flagship 7 Series, in order to lower monthly payments and reduce customers' actual financial burden.
Customers who buy the 7 Series through BMW Smart Lease can receive lease support worth 8 million won in total, with 1 million won per month for the first eight months, depending on the terms. Customers eligible for corporate sales support can receive up to an additional 2 million won if they use BMW Financial Services' operating lease or rental program.
The 5 Series also comes with lease support under BMW Smart Lease. Based on the 520i, customers can receive 500,000 won per month for 10 months, or 5 million won in total. Those eligible for corporate sales support can receive up to an additional 1.5 million won if they purchase through an operating lease or rental plan.
BMW Korea's customer benefits continue after purchase as well. Members of the BMW Excellence Club, an exclusive membership program for luxury-class customers including 7 Series owners, are offered opportunities such as VIP invitations to the Cannes Film Festival, as well as luxury-class rental cars in Jeju Province and airport services.
The BMW Ladies Championship Excellence Package is also available. Among customers who purchase a 7 Series by next month 30, four winners will be selected by lottery to receive an opportunity to take part in the pro-am round of the BMW Ladies Championship 2026, which will be held on Oct. 20 at Pine Beach Golf Links in Haenam County, South Jeolla Province. The program offers a special chance to play alongside world-class golfers.
With customer services strengthened before and after purchase, BMW Korea sold a total of 45,683 vehicles from January through July this year, ranking first in sales in the domestic premium imported car market.
In the premium large-car segment, it also took the top spot by selling 6,565 vehicles, led by the flagship 7 Series. The BMW 5 Series sedan recorded sales of 16,018 units.
BMW Korea said, "We will continue to invest in delivering the highest level of satisfaction throughout every stage of the customer experience, from choosing a vehicle to driving, maintenance and brand engagement." It added, "We plan to keep our leadership in the premium imported car market by offering a wide range of customer benefits and differentiated programs."
