[Financial News] KT will join hands with partner startups and small businesses to attend a major technology conference in Southeast Asia. The company plans to help its partners explore new business opportunities in the Southeast Asian market by supporting exhibition participation and other activities, while building a win-win ecosystem.
On the 27th, KT said it participated in the Techsauce Global Summit 2026, held in Bangkok, Thailand, with 12 partner startups and small businesses.
This year's event, which features more than 300 participating companies, will host a range of sessions on artificial intelligence transformation (AX), fintech, and food tech.
The companies joining KT are Marsis, which works on IPTV set-top box technology; The Pinkfong Company, which produces film and animation content; Mokkoji, which specializes in 3D animation; Bepro Company, which provides soccer video analysis; Daim Technology, which offers physical AI-based autonomous manufacturing solutions; Allganize Korea, which develops LLM solutions; DEEPING SOURCE, which optimizes spatial operations using AI; XL8, which provides AI-powered automatic translation and interpretation; Trash Busters, which rents and cleans reusable containers; Peach AI, which measures advertising media performance; Pevo, which offers voice AX solutions; and Gray Lab, which develops AI security agents. The 12 companies were selected mainly from among partner startups and small businesses aiming to enter the Southeast Asian market.
Allganize Korea is reviewing cooperation with KT to jointly enter global markets. XL8 is also seeking to expand into Southeast Asia based on its own AI translation solution. During the event, the companies will discuss potential business partnerships with local firms.
KT said the event is designed to help participating companies achieve tangible results in the Southeast Asian market. It will review more than 300 local exhibitors in advance and arrange tailored meetups with companies that have strong potential for collaboration with its partners. Related consulting services will also be provided.
In addition, KT will invite local global investors, or VC, to hold one-on-one meetings with participating companies. Through this, the company plans to support global investment attraction and expansion into Southeast Asia. The participating companies will also gain insight into global AX technology trends and market direction, while networking with local firms and Thai government agencies.
The event is part of KT's shared growth program for its partners. KT operates a range of programs to strengthen the competitiveness of its partners, including small businesses and startups, and to support their sustainable growth.
Kwon Hye-jin, Senior Managing Director and head of KT's SCM division, said, "We are supporting exhibition participation and IR pitching so that our partner startups and small businesses can discover new business opportunities in the Southeast Asian market and enhance their global competitiveness." She added, "We will continue to actively support promising small and medium-sized venture companies as they expand overseas and grow, building a sustainable ecosystem of mutual growth."
