[Financial News] LINA Life Insurance Company of Korea is accelerating its companywide AI transformation by integrating Generative Artificial Intelligence (Generative AI) into everyday work. The strategy goes beyond introducing a simple work assistant tool and aims to reshape employees' work style around AI.
The company said on the 27th that it will use the Generative AI solution Microsoft 365 Copilot across its operations.
It first introduced the web-based conversational AI service GitHub Copilot Chat, allowing employees to handle repetitive tasks such as document drafting, data summarization and translation within their existing work environment. A key feature is improved convenience, as employees can use AI functions without switching to a separate AI service.
LINA Life Insurance Company of Korea plans to expand Microsoft 365 Copilot to all employees starting in October. Through this, the company aims to apply Generative AI not only to selected tasks but to the overall work environment.
By using Copilot, the company expects employees to check the information they need more quickly and reduce the time spent on repetitive work such as document drafting. The time saved will be redirected toward core tasks that require decision-making and specialized expertise.
Along with the companywide rollout, LINA Life Insurance Company of Korea will also work to establish an AI-use culture across the organization. It plans to continuously identify AI applications that can be used in actual work and expand related training and support for employees.
In particular, the company said it will focus not merely on providing new software, but on embedding the use of AI itself into work processes.
Park Gi-heung, executive director of the Digital Services Division at LINA Life Insurance Company of Korea, said, "The purpose of introducing Copilot is to improve employees' work efficiency and productivity by actively using generative AI in daily tasks." He added, "We will continue to expand the areas where AI is used and strengthen employees' capabilities so that it can lead to meaningful work innovation."
