"Took Off His Shirt and Soaked the Store with a Mop"... Customer's Vandalism at Unstaffed Store on Three Consecutive Days

[Financial News] A bizarre story has emerged about a customer who entered an unstaffed store, used a mop from the restroom to soak the entire shop, and then left.
On the 26th, JTBC's Scandal Supervisor featured the story of a man identified as A, who runs an unstaffed store in Changwon, South Gyeongsang Province.
A said he went to the store on the 20th to clean and found it in a mess.
After checking the closed-circuit television (CCTV), he found that the previous day, on the 19th, a man had been seen smoking in the store and tearing down a notice posted inside.
A brushed it off, thinking, "He must be a strange customer," and returned to the store on the 24th.
But the entire store had been contaminated, and the smell was overwhelming. When A reviewed the CCTV again, he confirmed that the same man who had smoked in the store on the 19th had visited on both the 22nd and 23rd as well.
The man took off his shirt, used what appeared to be a mop taken from the restroom to soak the entire store, smoked, and then left.
A said, "I left my phone number inside the store. If he had any complaints or requests, he could have just called," adding, "In the end, I spent three hours cleaning up the wrecked store." He also said, "I couldn't even report it to the police because I didn't know what charge it would fall under."
Lawyer Park Ji-hoon, who heard the story, said, "It seems he committed a lot of acts that could qualify as property damage," and explained, "Property damage does not require actual physical destruction; situations like the one in the video, where the condition of the property is made worse, can also qualify."
