[Financial News] AMI, the French casual brand operated by Samsung C&T Fashion Group, is launching its first regular children's wear collection.
According to Samsung C&T Fashion Group on the 27th, AMI officially launched AMI KIDS and released new Fall/Winter 2026 items.
The kids line, which was introduced as a limited winter collection last year, has now been expanded into a regular collection this season. After helping lead South Korea's new luxury market, AMI plans to broaden its influence in children's wear as well. Kids fashion continues to grow as the so-called ten-pocket phenomenon spreads, with the whole family opening their wallets for children.
The collection was designed to revisit childhood and let children naturally experience the brand's core values of joy, generosity and solidarity in everyday life. It features comfortable silhouettes that support free movement, along with the brand's signature colors and classic stripe patterns. The lineup includes knits, cardigans, shirts, pants, beanies and ball caps featuring the brand's emblematic AMI de Coeur, offering a distinctive kids styling concept.
The collection will be sold at AMI standalone stores nationwide, including the AMI Hannam flagship store, as well as on SSF Shop, Samsung C&T Fashion Group's online shopping platform. A launch event for the kids collection will also be held.
Nam Ho-seong, head of the AMI team at Samsung C&T Fashion Group, said, "We expanded our brand portfolio so that parents and children can share AMI's unique sensibility," and added, "We will continue to grow into a casual lifestyle brand experienced by children and the whole family."
