Genesis BBQ Group Opens 'Seoul Dakbang' at The Hyundai Seoul, Expands Deli Business

[Financial News] Genesis BBQ Group's new signature chicken deli brand has entered The Hyundai Seoul and begun targeting consumers.
According to the industry on the 27th, Genesis BBQ Group opened the first store of its new chicken deli brand, Seoul Dakbang, at The Hyundai Seoul in Yeouido, Seoul.
Seoul Dakbang is the second brand launched by Party Center, Genesis BBQ Group's food-content company. It was designed to present chicken, a familiar dish for Koreans, as a new meal by adding Seoul-inspired sensibilities and a range of flavors.
Its signature menu is Signature Crispy, which offers oven-baked chicken in a variety of flavors. The lineup includes Seoul Gold, the basic menu item, Seoul White with the flavor of truffle butter, and Seoul Red with a sweet and spicy gochujang-style seasoning.
It also offers five varieties in total, including Seoul Black, which comes with a seaweed sauce and crispy seaweed crunch made with domestic seaweed, and Seoul Amber, a classic seasoned fried chicken with a sweet-and-sour flavor.
Seoul Dakbang centers its menu on oven cooking and operates mainly as a takeout store. Through this model, it plans to systematically manage product freshness and quality.
An official from Genesis BBQ Group said, "Seoul Dakbang is a brand that captures a variety of flavors in chicken and offers something familiar, yet different from what customers have tasted before." The official added, "We will create differentiated competitiveness by reinterpreting familiar flavors such as seaweed sauce, seaweed crunch, and spicy pepper seasoning in our own unique way."
