[Financial News] Comedian Jung Cheol-gyu directly denied some of the names being speculated as the senior comedian who assaulted him in the past, as the rumors continued to spread. He drew a clear line, saying that Ryu Dam, Kim Jin-cheol, and No Woo-jin were not the perpetrators.
A recent video uploaded to comedian Miki Gwangsu's YouTube channel, whose real name is Park Gwang-su, featured Jung Cheol-gyu, who is known as Blanca, as a guest.
Jung Cheol-gyu had previously revealed that he was bullied continuously for six years by a senior comedian. At the time, he claimed, "He told me to sit in the passenger seat and then fastened my seat belt. Suddenly, he turned off the engine and kept slapping me in the face."
As Jung Cheol-gyu did not reveal the senior comedian's name, speculation spread online. Names such as Ryu Dam, Kim Jin-cheol, and No Woo-jin were raised as possible suspects.
Jung Cheol-gyu moved to correct those rumors. He said, "That senior comedian is not currently active on TV or YouTube. People keep mentioning Ryu Dam, Kim Jin-cheol, and No Woo-jin in the comments, but those three are not the perpetrator."
Jung Cheol-gyu also said that no one should be harmed by false speculation. He explained, "I really want to say this. We should not create victims, should we? I have hardly ever talked with Ryu Dam hyung. Kim Jin-cheol is a close senior whom I still see from time to time, and No Woo-jin is a junior and a friend of mine."
