Japanese media outlet THE ANSWER reported on the South Korea women's national team’s match against Japan on the 24th local time. South Korea lost 3-0 to Japan in the second Group C match of the 2026 Asian Women's Volleyball Continental Championships, held on the 23rd in Tianjin, China, with set scores of 31-33, 19-25, and 20-25.

Born in 2001, Lee Da-hyeon is 185 cm tall. She joined Hyundai Engineering & Construction Hillstate as the No. 2 overall pick in the first round of the 2019-2020 Korea Volleyball Federation (KOVO) women's rookie draft. Ahead of the 2025-2026 season, she moved to Incheon Heungkuk Life Pink Spiders as a free agent.
Meanwhile, Lee Da-hyeon is set to play in Japan’s SV.League this year. On June 30, Incheon Heungkuk Life Pink Spiders announced, "Lee Da-hyeon will join NEC Red Rockets on loan for the 2026-2027 season and play there for one season. After gaining experience in Japan as a loan player, she is scheduled to return to Incheon Heungkuk Life Pink Spiders for the 2027-2028 season."
