[Financial News] The "2026 Art Job Fair" will be held at the Hongik University Daehakro Art Center in Mapo District, Seoul, on the 9th and 10th of next month.
The fair is co-hosted by the Korean Artists Welfare Foundation and the Korea Arts Management Service under the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism. It was organized to support artists' sustainable careers and expand opportunities for collaboration across a range of industries and social sectors.
This year, the event focuses on "collaboration and exploration." Twenty-five companies and organizations, including businesses, startups, social enterprises, and arts and culture groups, will take part in one-on-one collaboration consultations with artists. A job counseling area for arts job seekers will also be available.
Jinyeob Cha, artistic director of the Korea National Contemporary Dance Company, and O Dae-woo, co-CEO of For You Culture and Arts, will share their field experience under the theme "From Art to Work, From Work to Career." Artist Noh Sangho and writer Ham Yoon-yi will discuss the experience they have built while continuing their creative work with fellow artists. Artist Lee In-gang will give a lecture on "How Artists Can Expand Their Work in the Age of Artificial Intelligence (AI)."
One-on-one consultations will also be offered by 10 senior artists and professional mentors to review portfolios and career directions. Legal advice on contracts and copyright, as well as career counseling and self-introduction coaching, will also be provided.
Side events such as personal color analysis, collaboration-type tests, and profile photo sessions will also be offered.
