Hana Bank discloses KRW 2.41738 billion financial incident.. "External fraud"

[Financial News] Hana Bank has reported a financial incident worth KRW 2.4 billion.
Hana Bank disclosed on the 26th that a financial incident involving KRW 2,417,380,000 had occurred due to suspected fraud by an outside party.
The incident occurred between Sept. 18, 2023, and March 20 this year. The estimated loss is up to KRW 1,417,380,000. 
Hana Bank said it learned of the incident through "financial incident disclosures and media reports from other financial institutions."
It said the case is the same fraud scheme involved in the financial incidents at Korea Development Bank and Industrial Bank of Korea.
On the 6th and 20th, KDB and IBK each disclosed financial incidents worth KRW 58.3 billion and KRW 9.4 billion, respectively.
