"Support for Youths with Migrant Backgrounds" JB Financial Group's Dada Camp Surpasses 1,000 Participants

[Financial News] JB Financial Group's flagship social contribution program, 'Dada Camp,' has surpassed 1,000 cumulative participants. It has become a program that supports the healthy growth of children and teenagers with migrant backgrounds. 
JB Financial Group said on the 26th that Dada Camp, its flagship social contribution program, had recorded 1,026 cumulative participants as of this month, since its first launch in 2023.
Dada Camp means 'colorful and diverse.' It is a group-wide social contribution project designed to help children and teenagers with migrant backgrounds build peer relationships and explore their aptitudes and career paths. Rather than being a one-time event, it is structured so participants can join repeatedly from elementary school through high school graduation. Even during the school term, the program continues emotional and psychological care as well as academic support, closely helping teenagers grow.
A total of 195 children and teenagers with migrant backgrounds attended the 'Dada Camp' for elementary and middle school students and the 'Dada Vision School' for high school students, held for 10 days starting on Aug. 3 at Jeongeup Aurum Campus in Jeongeup, North Jeolla Province.
The number of children and teenagers participating in Dada Camp has steadily increased from 100 in 2023, the program's first year, to 354 in 2024, 365 in 2025, and 207 as of August 2026. Moving beyond a one-off event, the program has become a representative social contribution initiative for the local community and the group, helping children and teenagers with migrant backgrounds explore career paths in practical ways and develop emotionally.
Meanwhile, JB Financial Group is carrying out a range of support activities to protect the rights of undocumented migrants and migrant children and help them achieve practical self-reliance. These include Dada Camp, the 'JB Hello Together Market' bazaar for communication and coexistence with migrants, 'Project 169,' a support program for undocumented migrant children run with UNICEF Korea, and a livelihood support program operated with the Korea Migrant Health Association. In April, about 50 members of JB Financial Group's volunteer group, the 'Seed Volunteer Group,' also made kits for undocumented migrant children and mothers born in Korea.
