[Financial News, Iksan = Reporter Kang In] Mayor of Iksan Choi Jeong-ho will operate an Open Mayor’s Office to resolve long-standing civil complaints.
According to Iksan-si on the 26th, the city will launch the "Open Mayor’s Office for Communication and Civil Complaints" starting in September. The program will bring citizens and the mayor together to discuss local issues and seek solutions.
Through the Open Mayor’s Office, the mayor will hear residents’ grievances and suggestions directly and look for concrete solutions, including on-site inspections. The goal is to move away from showy administration and find practical, direct answers.
Any citizen can apply in advance through the Iksan-si website, and an interview will be arranged through a set procedure.
An Iksan-si official said, "We will not stop at a simple meeting. We will prepare a thorough review and alternatives in advance so that citizens can feel the results firsthand."
