"Perfect Ambassador for France" Renault Korea's Filante Selected as New Official Vehicle for French Ambassador to Korea

[Financial News] Renault Korea's global flagship crossover, the Renault Filante Hybrid E-Tech, has been selected as the new official vehicle for the French ambassador to Korea.
Renault Korea said on the 26th that at a handover ceremony held on the 25th at the Embassy of France in Korea in Seodaemun-gu, Seoul, President Nicolas Paris personally handed Philippe Bertoux, the French ambassador to Korea, the smart key to the Renault Filante.
The Filante was launched in South Korea in March as Renault's new global flagship E-segment crossover.
It is regarded as a model that combines the strengths of a sedan and an SUV, with a spacious interior built around a premium tech lounge concept and advanced convenience and connectivity features.
In particular, the quiet driving technology, safety features and Hybrid E-Tech powertrain applied as standard across all trims are seen as elements that meet the dignity and stability required for diplomatic schedules.
Ambassador Bertoux said, "The Filante is a perfect ambassador that symbolizes the excellence and elegance of French technology," adding, "The Filante produced by Renault Korea in Busan embodies the success and potential of cooperation between France and South Korea, and its significance is even greater because it was launched in a meaningful year marking the 140th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two countries."
