According to Gangwon Special Self-Governing Province on the 26th, Gangwon The Mall is operating the "2026 Gang-Autumn" special exhibition until September 30th in conjunction with the Gangwon Sale Festa, the province's representative discount festival. 153 participating companies are offering discounts of up to 50% on approximately 580 items, including holiday gift sets, Gangwon specialties, and processed foods.
A wide variety of products has been stocked so that customers can conveniently purchase Chuseok gifts and holiday food items in one place. Discount coupons and participation events have also been prepared.
Every Tuesday, 30% and Thursday, 20% discount coupons are provided on a first-come, first-served basis, and the 'Click Autumn' points event, attendance checks, Kakao Plus Friend additions, and live sales broadcasts are being conducted. The province is holding Chuseok discount events at 18 city and county malls, as well as at the Post Office Shopping Mall and Lotte On, to expand online sales channels for Gangwon products and support the sales of local companies.
In particular, this month, Gangwon The Mall mobile gift certificates were selected as return gifts for the Hometown Love Donation System and registered on Hometown Love e-eum. It is expected that donations to Gangwon-do will lead to local consumption and economic revitalization, as recipients can purchase products at Gangwon The Mall directly using the gift certificates received along with tax deduction benefits.
Kim Moon-gi, Director General of the Economic Bureau of Gangwon Autonomous Province, said, "I hope that the weekly discount coupons and live broadcasts will alleviate the burden on residents' holiday shopping baskets and provide an opportunity for local businesses to expand their sales channels," adding, "I also hope for significant interest in consuming local products through the mobile gift certificates selected as return gifts for the Hometown Love Donation.
