Renault Korea Says Filante Selected as French Ambassador to Korea's Official Vehicle

[Financial News] Renault Korea's global flagship crossover, the Renault Filante hybrid E-Tech, has been selected as the new official vehicle of the French ambassador to Korea.
According to Renault Korea on the 26th, Nicolas Paris, president of Renault Korea, personally handed over the smart key for the Renault Filante to Philippe Bertoux, French ambassador to Korea, at a handover ceremony held the previous day at the French Embassy in Seoul.
The Renault Filante, launched in Korea in March, is Renault's new global flagship E-segment crossover. It combines sedan and SUV styling, a spacious interior built around a premium tech lounge concept, and advanced convenience and connectivity features.
Renault Korea said the Filante's quiet driving technology, safety features and hybrid E-Tech powertrain meet the dignity and stability required for diplomatic schedules.
Bertoux said, "The Filante is the perfect 'ambassador' that symbolizes French technological excellence and elegance," adding, "The Filante produced by Renault Korea in Busan embodies the success and potential of cooperation between France and Korea, and its significance is even greater because it was launched in this meaningful year marking the 140th anniversary of diplomatic ties between the two countries."
