3,000 Runners Join a 'Donation Race'... All Entry Fees Go to Rehabilitation for Children with Disabilities

 [Financial News]  A charity marathon will be held, with 3,000 citizens running together to raise funds for rehabilitation treatment for children with disabilities. All entry fees will go toward supporting rehabilitation care for children with disabilities.
According to The Purme Foundation on the 26th, the '2026 Miracle365 Purme Run with Nexon' will be held at 9 a.m. on Nov. 7 at World Cup Park Peace Plaza in Seoul. The event marks the 10th anniversary of the opening of The Purme Foundation's Nexon Children's Rehabilitation Hospital.
The race offers two courses: a 3-kilometer walk and a 10-kilometer run. People with and without disabilities will choose the course that suits their fitness level and finish the race in the same venue.
Sheon, a public ambassador for The Purme Foundation, will join the event along with soccer commentator Lee Keun-ho and Ewha Womans University professor Lee Ji-seon. Kim Yun-ji, who won two gold medals and three silver medals at the 2026 Milan-Cortina Winter Paralympics, is also expected to run with children with disabilities and citizens.
The event is rooted in the 10-year history of The Purme Foundation's Nexon Children's Rehabilitation Hospital. Opened in 2016 through the participation of 10,000 citizens and 500 companies, it was the country's first integrated children's rehabilitation hospital. Nexon provided 20 billion won for the hospital's construction.
The hospital connects medical care and rehabilitation treatment, centered on its rehabilitation medicine department, so that children who need rehabilitation can receive multiple types of care in one place. As of the end of 2025, it had provided customized rehabilitation treatment to 714,502 children.

The Miracle365 Purme Run began in 2017, the hospital's first anniversary, to raise funds for rehabilitation treatment for children with disabilities. Sheon has taken part since the first event and has helped encourage public participation.
Donations from Nexon and its users continue as well. The 'Nexon Hero Campaign,' launched to mark Nexon's 30th anniversary, drew participation from 160,000 users and created the 3.4 billion won 'Nexon Hero 30 Fund.' The fund is being used to support medical and rehabilitation care for children with disabilities.
This year's entry fees are 20,000 won for the 3-kilometer course and 50,000 won for the 10-kilometer course. All proceeds will be used to support rehabilitation treatment for children with disabilities.
Registration opens at 10 a.m. on the 26th. A total of 3,000 participants will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. Participants will receive a commemorative T-shirt and a finisher's medal.
Sheon, a public ambassador for The Purme Foundation, said, "A hospital that began 10 years ago with the hearts of citizens has changed the lives of countless children with disabilities." He added, "I hope more citizens will run together and cheer on the children's dreams."
Paik Kyung-hak, executive director of The Purme Foundation, said, "I hope this becomes a place to celebrate the hospital's past 10 years together and begin the next 10 years."
