K-FINCO Donates 10 Million Won to Residents Hit by Heavy Rain in Geoje

[Financial News] Korea Federation of Specialized Construction Contractors (K-FINCO) has made a designated donation of 10 million won to the Community Chest of Korea for residents of Geoje City, Gyeongsangnam-do, who were recently affected by record-breaking heavy rain. The donation is aimed at helping affected residents return to their daily lives.
According to K-FINCO on the 26th, the donation will be used to help residents in the Geoje area recover quickly and return to normal life.
The chairman of K-FINCO said, "I would like to express my deepest sympathy to the residents of Geoje City who are suffering from the heavy rain damage," adding, "I hope this donation will be a small help in allowing affected residents to return to their daily lives as soon as possible."
K-FINCO also plans to review additional support for other regions affected by the torrential rain.
The association has continued to donate relief funds whenever disasters and accidents occur. Last March, it contributed funds for recovery from wildfire damage in Sancheong County, Hadong County, and Uiseong County. In April, it supported the provision of modular housing for wildfire evacuees in Andong. In August of the same year, it donated recovery funds for flood damage in seven special disaster zones, including South Chungcheong Province.
