[Financial News] NCsoft is accelerating its push into the global market by unveiling three new titles at Gamescom 2026 in Cologne, Germany. It has set the global launch date for AION 2 for October 5 and introduced the team-based survival first-person shooter (FPS) Like or Die for the first time.
NCsoft announced on the 26th that it had revealed three new titles at Opening Night Live (ONL), the eve-of-show event for Gamescom 2026. Through ONL, it showcased new videos for AION 2 and Cinder City, and also unveiled the in-development title Like or Die for the first time.
With a new trailer, AION 2 also confirmed its global release date. It is scheduled to launch simultaneously in North America, South America, Europe and Asia on October 5 via PC platforms such as Steam and PURPLE. Before launch, the company will conduct a launch-scale test from September 17 to 18. The test will recreate the live service environment to check server and infrastructure stability, while also giving users a chance to experience the game before its official release.
Cinder City is being developed with a global service launch in mind, and held a pre-alpha playtest for U.S. users over three days from the 14th to the 16th, local time.
Like or Die is a team-based survival first-person shooter (FPS) currently in development at NCsoft. In the released video, viewers can see key gameplay scenes, including combat using blocks and the destruction of enemy bases. Users can add Like or Die to their wishlist on the Steam store page.
NCsoft is participating in Gamescom 2026, which opened on August 26, and is operating a booth in the B2B hall. The company aims to strengthen its presence in the global market by introducing its new titles to international media and industry figures.
