TS Pledges Ethical Management with Representatives of the Public and Youth

[Financial News] The Korea Transportation Safety Authority (TS) pledged to practice ethical management together with representatives of the public and youth. Its top executives signed the pledge and exchanged views with the representatives, reaffirming their commitment to building a fair organizational culture.
According to TS on the 26th, the authority held the 2026 Ethical Management Pledge Ceremony that day at the Automobile Safety Defect Deliberation Bureau in Seoul. The event was attended by all top executives, including Chairman Yong-Sik Jung, four standing directors, five newly appointed non-standing directors, one labor director, as well as representatives of the public and youth.
Participants signed by hand an ethical management pledge covering eight key ethics items, including respect for customers, fulfillment of duties, fair performance of responsibilities, elimination of improper conduct, and prohibition of private gain. They also took part in a campaign photo shoot themed on TS's ethical management brand, which emphasizes acting with conviction and integrity.
The ceremony sent a message that ethical management would not be confined to an internal agenda for executives, as representatives of the public and youth employees joined the event. After the signing, participants discussed major ethical issues and shared views on integrity values that align with public expectations and the future direction of ethical management.
Chairman Jung said, "Ethical management is a core value that must be given top priority in all of the authority's work and decision-making." He added, "Starting with our top executives, we will do our utmost to set an example and build an honest Korea Transportation Safety Authority that the public can trust."
