LOTTE HOTELS & RESORTS unveils 'Travel Pass' for foreign guests, linking affiliate benefits

[Financial News] LOTTE HOTELS & RESORTS will launch a foreigner-only package that combines lodging, transportation, shopping and tourism benefits, in line with the rising number of inbound foreign visitors.
According to LOTTE HOTELS & RESORTS on the 26th, the company will roll out the 'LOTTE HOTEL Rewards Exclusive Travel Pass' package for foreign members of LOTTE HOTEL Rewards.
The package includes a room and two limited-edition T-money cards, along with shopping and sightseeing benefits from Lotte affiliates. The share of foreign guests at LOTTE HOTELS & RESORTS has been steadily rising.
Foreign visitors accounted for about 70% of all guests at the chain's hotels in Seoul and Busan last year. In the first half of this year, the number of foreign guests at the Busan chain hotels rose by about 35% from a year earlier.
The package will be offered at 10 hotels in Korea, including Lotte Hotel Seoul, Lotte Hotel World and Lotte Hotel Busan, as well as L7 Myeongdong by LOTTE, L7 Hongdae by Lotte Hotel, L7 Gangnam by LOTTE HOTELS, L7 HAEUNDAE by LOTTE HOTELS, and Lotte City Hotel Myeongdong, Lotte City Hotel Jeju and Lotte City Hotel Guro.
The limited-edition T-money card features a modern reinterpretation of mother-of-pearl and the Sipjangsaeng pattern. Each card comes preloaded with 3,000 won and can be used on public transportation and at T-money merchants.
The package also offers benefits tied to Lotte affiliates. At LOTTE HOTELS & RESORTS, bakery items, cakes and lounge food and beverages will be discounted by up to 15%. At Lotte Duty Free, customers will receive PRE-LDF PAY and Gold-tier upgrade benefits.
Discounts will also be available for attractions such as LOTTE WORLD ADVENTURE BUSAN, Lotte World Aquarium and Seoul Sky, along with spending-based discounts at FRESH 365.
An official from LOTTE HOTELS & RESORTS said, "We prepared this package so that foreign guests can enjoy not only their time at the hotel, but also a more convenient and pleasant travel experience in Korea." The official added, "We will continue to carefully consider each customer's travel journey and expand the differentiated guest experience unique to LOTTE HOTELS & RESORTS."
