CJ CheilJedang Provides Emergency Supplies to Flood-Hit Geoje and Tongyeong-si, South Gyeongsang Province

[Financial News] CJ CheilJedang has stepped in to provide emergency relief supplies for residents of Geoje and Tongyeong-si in South Gyeongsang Province, who have been struggling after recent flood damage.
According to CJ CheilJedang on the 26th, the relief items total more than 3,000 units and include Hetbahn, Hetbahn Sotban, bibigo soup dishes, Spam, and chestnuts. The package was made up of ready-to-eat meals and snacks needed by residents in the affected areas.
The products will be delivered quickly to the local governments concerned, in coordination with the National Disaster Relief Association.
CJ CheilJedang formed the Emergency Disaster Relief Council with the Ministry of the Interior and Safety and the National Disaster Relief Association in May 2019. Since then, it has promptly provided relief supplies whenever disasters have occurred, including wildfires along the East Coast and flood damage caused by heavy rain.
A CJ CheilJedang official said, "We hope this can be of some help in the swift recovery and return to daily life for the affected areas."
