According to Daewoo Engineering & Construction Co., Ltd. on the 26th, the selected works are the Lacherbo Prugio Summit Sunken Plaza, Summit Gallery Namcheon, Summit Gallery Seomyeon, and the Prugio artist garden "The Luminous Grove of Stone."
The IDEA Design Awards are organized by the Industrial Designers Society of America (IDSA). The selected works include both brand experience spaces and landscaping created in actual apartment complexes, highlighting the range of Daewoo Engineering & Construction Co., Ltd.'s residential design applications.
The Lacherbo Prugio Summit Sunken Plaza was also named a finalist this time, following a top award at Germany's iF Design Award in March. It was designed as a modern reinterpretation of Borrowed Landscape, a traditional spatial concept in hanok (traditional Korean house), allowing nature and the surrounding scenery to flow naturally into the space.
Summit Gallery Namcheon and Seomyeon were designed as spaces where visitors can experience Summit's brand philosophy as well as its emotional and cultural values. "The Luminous Grove of Stone" is a work that brought to life the artist garden concept unveiled at the 2025 Seoul International Garden Show at the Jeongeup Prugio The First complex. It uses layered stone materials to create both openness and a place for rest.
A Daewoo Engineering & Construction Co., Ltd. official said, "This finalist selection is the result of global recognition for Daewoo Engineering & Construction Co., Ltd.'s spatial design capabilities, which seek to go beyond simple residential functions and capture emotion, culture and Korean identity."
