Unidentified Woman's Body Found in Ulsan Reservoir; Police Checking for Missing Person Reports

【Financial News Ulsan=Choi Soo-sang reporter】 Police are investigating whether a missing person report has been filed and whether foul play was involved after the body of an unidentified woman was found floating in a reservoir in Ulsan Metropolitan City.
According to the Ulsan Fire Headquarters and the Ulsan Dong-bu Police Office on the 25th, a report was received at 3:49 p.m. from a passerby who said, "A person is floating in the water" at Myeongdeok Reservoir in Dong District, Ulsan Metropolitan City.
The fire headquarters said, "We received a report that someone appeared to be floating in the water while walking around the reservoir," and added, "At around 4:07 p.m., we confirmed a body in a drowned state."
The recovered body was identified as female.
Police plan to identify the woman through fingerprint comparison, closed-circuit television analysis, and checks of her belongings. They will also examine the body to determine the exact cause of death, including any injuries or signs of criminal activity. Once her identity is confirmed, they will also look into any related missing person reports.
