KAS E&C Signs Agreement with Vinh University to Support Korean Language Education, Expands CSR Programs for Vietnamese Universities

[Hanoi, Vietnam = Correspondent Kim Joon-seok] KAS E&C is joining forces with Vinh University, one of Vietnam's leading private universities, to expand support for Korean language and Korean culture education for Vietnamese college students.
KAS E&C said it signed a memorandum of understanding with Vinh University in Hanoi, Vietnam, on the 24th to support Korean language education at Vietnamese universities.
Under the agreement, King Sejong Institute Hanoi 3, operated by KAS E&C's education subsidiary The Saem Education, will provide a structured Korean language and Korean culture education program for Vinh University students. This is the fifth Korean language education program linked to a local Vietnamese university run by King Sejong Institute Hanoi 3.
KAS E&C plans to sponsor a total of 600 million dong, or about 31.8 million won, over the next four years starting Sept. 12. The agreement is significant because it combines corporate financial support with the expertise of a specialized education institution to provide Vietnamese college students with continuous, high-quality education. Vinh University expects the program to improve local students' Korean language skills, deepen their understanding of Korean culture, and strengthen exchanges and cooperation between the two countries' future generations. 
A KAS E&C official said, "Korean language education is an important bridge connecting the young generations of Korea and Vietnam," adding, "Through this agreement with Vinh University, we plan to continue expanding our CSR activities in education so that more Vietnamese students can experience high-quality Korean language and Korean culture education."
KAS E&C said it will continue to actively promote social contribution activities centered on education and culture, and contribute to nurturing talent and revitalizing exchanges between future generations in Korea and Vietnam through Korean language education.

Meanwhile, KAS E&C, which entered Vietnam in 1994 as one of the first-generation Korean companies there, has expanded its business over the past 30 years across construction, design, IT, education, and food and beverage. In particular, it has continued to invest in education as part of its CSR commitments. The Saem Education, which operates King Sejong Institute Hanoi 3 with KAS E&C's support, is marking the 10th anniversary of its corporate-sponsored education project this year. Based on the specialized curriculum of the King Sejong Institute under the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism (MCST), King Sejong Institute Hanoi 3 has produced more than 10,000 graduates to date.
