"Safety Built Together with Citizens": Seoul Police Hold Public Safety Partners Meeting

[Financial News] The Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency held the second joint meeting of the Seoul Police Public Safety Partners at 3 p.m. on the 25th.
The meeting was attended by 36 people, including Park Jeong-bo, commissioner of the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency, and representatives of the Public Safety Partners groups. The Seoul Police Public Safety Partners, launched in January, is a communication council created to reflect citizens' opinions in public safety policy. It has expanded from 14 groups at launch to 17 groups and about 71,000 members today. 
The agency has also operated a dedicated communication space called the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency’s "Listening" channel on its website and opened a dedicated bulletin board on the "MomsHolic Baby" cafe, which has 3.7 million members. It has also continued active communication with citizens by collecting suggestions through QR codes for the Seoul Police Hotline. In particular, all 180 citizen opinions received through the hotline were addressed, helping turn public feedback into real improvements at police sites.
At the meeting, the agency shared key first-half public safety achievements, including the Seoul Traffic Redesign Project, the Basic Order Redesign Project, measures to secure public trust in police investigations, and responses to relationship-based crimes and victim protection.
Park said, "We have worked to listen closely to citizens' voices and actively reflect on-site feedback in policy," adding, "Going forward, all Seoul police officers will continue working with citizens so that everyone can feel empathy and safety."
