[Financial News] POSCO E&C said that THE SHARP Bundang Highst, a large-scale remodeling complex it is building in a prime location in Bundang New Town, Seongnam City, Gyeonggi Province, will go on sale in September. With new housing supply scarce in Bundang, the project is expected to draw strong interest thanks to its excellent location and specialized design.
According to POSCO E&C on the 25th, THE SHARP Bundang Highst, developed by the Neuti Village Complex 4 remodeling housing association, will be built on a site in Jeongja-dong 90, Bundang District, Seongnam City, Gyeonggi Province. The complex will consist of 17 buildings ranging from four basement levels to 26 floors above ground, with a total of 1,149 households. Of those, 143 units with exclusive areas of 66 to 84 square meters will be offered for general sale, including 52 units of 66 square meters, 19 units of 74 square meters, and 72 units of 84 square meters.
The complex is located in Jeongja station’s double-station area, with access to both the Shinbundang Line and the Suin–Bundang Line, giving it excellent transportation connectivity. Using the Shinbundang Line, residents can reach Pangyo Station in one stop and Gangnam station in about 15 minutes. It also offers strong access to major arterial roads, including the Gyeongbu Expressway and the Bundang-Suseo Urban Expressway.
It also offers a one-stop school district, with Shin-gi Elementary School, Jeongja Middle School, and Hansol High School all within walking distance. The Jeongja-dong private academy district is nearby as well. In addition, large shopping facilities such as E-Mart, AK Plaza, and Hyundai Department Store Pangyo Branch, along with Seoul National University Bundang Hospital, Tancheon walking trails, and Neunggol Park, are close by, creating an 'all-in-vill' environment where residents can enjoy housing, work, and daily-life infrastructure in one place.
The project also has strong future value. Near Jeongja-dong 1, a 630 billion won 'Baekhyun MICE urban development project' is under way to build exhibition and convention facilities, lodging, and mixed-use office space. In the Jeongja-dong 253 area, a 'biohealth advanced cluster' project is scheduled through 2030, which is expected to further strengthen self-sufficient functions and surrounding demand.
In particular, THE SHARP Bundang Highst has significantly expanded its underground parking area to four basement levels in order to ease the parking shortage that has long plagued existing Bundang apartments, securing ample parking space of about 1.69 cars per household. The exterior will feature a modern curtain-wall look, and the complex will include premium community facilities such as a sky lounge, guest house, and indoor golf practice range to maximize residential value.
A POSCO E&C official said, "We will bring together the core construction know-how and digital technology accumulated through Korea's largest remodeling track record to complete this as a landmark complex representing Bundang," adding, "We expect strong market response as the excellent location and differentiated specialized design create synergy."
