[Financial News] Fasoo AI has applied its private blockchain, FasooBlock, across Donghaeng Lottery's lottery system. By recording purchase ledgers and winning information for Lotto 6/45 and instant lottery tickets on the blockchain, it aims to prevent data tampering and improve the reliability of verification.
Fasoo AI said on the 25th that it introduced blockchain technology to carry out Donghaeng Lottery's system upgrade task of strengthening the integrity and stability of lottery data. Fasoo AI is currently participating in the Donghaeng Lottery consortium, the fifth operator entrusted with the lottery business, and is responsible for security in the lottery operation.
A private blockchain is limited to authorized users, which allows for faster processing and controlled access to sensitive data. It is mainly used when multiple parties jointly manage data and need to prove authenticity and track its history.
FasooBlock has been applied to all of Donghaeng Lottery's draw-based and instant lottery products, including Lotto 6/45 and Speetto 2000, to securely record and manage integrity hashes for purchase ledgers and winning information. It also strengthens the reliability of data verification by applying additional verification procedures using that information when checking high-value tickets. Records stored on the blockchain can be traced, and tampering is virtually impossible, allowing the company to respond to illegal sales.
Kang Bong-ho, head of Fasoo AI's service business division, said, "We will expand the application of FasooBlock to a wide range of industries, including finance, public services, and logistics, where data integrity is critical."
