[Financial News] At a State Council of South Korea meeting he chaired at Cheong Wa Dae on the 25th, President Lee Jae Myung said, "Responsibility must be strengthened in proportion to the size of authority. The National Police Agency will probably wield the greatest power among state institutions going forward," and added, "Public concern over that is very high."
He then urged officials to consider how the National Police Agency should be reformed in the future and to think about establishing a police reform body, saying, "Because doubts arise over whether such great authority can be matched by sufficient responsibility."
