LIG Defense & Aerospace Shares Export Results with Partners Through R&D Support

[Financial News] LIG Defense & Aerospace held an agreement ceremony for R&D support under its export business performance-sharing program for outstanding partners that contributed to its export projects.
According to the industry on the 25th, the ceremony held on the 21st at LIG Defense & Aerospace's 2 Pangyo House was attended by Cha Sang-hoon, head of the company support division at LIG Defense & Aerospace; Park Byung-rae, CEO of Wave Electronics; Jung Han, CEO of i3system; Han Jeong-gyu, CEO of EOST; Kim Jeong-hyeon, CEO of Vain Telecom; and Yoon Hyung-soo, director general for planning and coordination at the Korea Foundation for Cooperation of Large & Small Businesses, Rural Affairs. The event was designed to pledge R&D funding for outstanding partners that contributed to export performance and to reinforce the company's commitment to mutual growth.
This agreement marks the first implementation of the newly established export business performance-sharing program, which was created as part of efforts to promote mutual growth with partners. Based on a comprehensive evaluation of technological capability, quality, and price competitiveness, the company selects partners that made major contributions to export projects and provides support through the Large & Small Business Cooperation Fund of the Korea Foundation for Cooperation of Large & Small Businesses, Rural Affairs. A total of KRW 2.3 billion will be distributed to four outstanding partners.
LIG Defense & Aerospace also views mutual growth with partners as a key driver of sustainable growth. In addition, it operates a range of cooperation programs, including the subcontract price linkage system, which helps minimize losses for partner companies caused by fluctuations in raw material prices, and a mutual growth fund that offers low-interest operating loans to partners.
