JNPMEDI Secures 6.2 Billion Won After Being Selected for Ministry of SMEs and Startups' Global TIPS

[Financial News] JNPMEDI, an artificial intelligence-based life sciences R&D platform company, has been selected for the general track of the Ministry of SMEs and Startups' 2026 investment-linked technology development project, Global TIPS.
JNPMEDI said on the 25th that the selection will secure a total project budget of 6.2 billion won over four years through June 2030, including 5 billion won in government funding.
Global TIPS is a program that supports promising small and venture companies that have been recognized by private investment for their growth potential and overseas commercialization prospects, helping them advance their technology and enter global markets.
Through this project, JNPMEDI will develop an AI-based Clinical OS that can manage data, documents, regulatory information, and operational tasks generated during clinical trials in a single environment. The goal is to build an integrated operating system that connects the entire clinical trial process with AI, including data analysis, decision support, regulatory response, and workflow automation.
Unlike existing clinical trial systems that simply add separate AI functions, the company is focusing on linking the broader flow of clinical data and work processes around AI.
To that end, it plans to integrate and standardize clinical data, related documents, and global regulatory guidelines, while advancing technologies such as AI-based clinical document understanding and generation, anomaly and pattern analysis in clinical data, data and document compliance verification based on global regulations and guidelines, and clinical operations automation through external system integration.
The company will also carry out phased demonstrations for global market expansion. In the early stage, it will develop a minimum viable product and verify core technologies before checking whether the integrated Clinical OS can be applied in real clinical trial operations and regulatory response environments.
It then plans to expand the scope of the demonstration to global clinical operations environments by working with overseas pharmaceutical and biotech companies and contract research organizations, and use that foundation to broaden its platform business.
