Hyundai Motor Company launches 7 million won-range 'high roof' Palisade, targeting premium family SUV market

[Financial News] Hyundai Motor Company launched the 2027 Palisade on the 25th, introducing a high roof model based on a sport utility vehicle (SUV) for the first time among domestic automakers.
The 2027 Palisade stands out for expanding its lineup significantly. It has made key safety and convenience features standard across trims, while adding the high roof model, the premium-design special trim Calligraphy Black Ink, and the outdoor-oriented XRT trim.
The newly added 2027 Palisade high roof model raises the roof by 240 mm, creating a more spacious and premium cabin. It is also designed with an overall height of 2,005 mm, allowing it to enter underground parking garages.
The 2027 Palisade high roof model features exclusive exterior design elements, including a high roof and black DLO molding. It also comes standard with Electronically Controlled Suspension with Road Preview, 21-inch alloy wheels, and Pirelli tires.
Inside, it comes standard with premium family-focused features such as a high roof ambient mood lamp and a 21.4-inch high roof rear-seat smart entertainment system.
Hyundai Motor Company is also unveiling Calligraphy Black Ink, a premium-design special trim based on Calligraphy, through the 2027 Palisade.
The 2027 Palisade Calligraphy Black Ink trim comes standard with 21-inch black alloy wheels, Pirelli tires, and Electronically Controlled Suspension with Road Preview, delivering dynamic driving performance. Black accents are applied throughout the vehicle with exclusive interior and exterior design elements.
The outdoor-oriented XRT trim has also been launched, with standard features including exclusive 20-inch alloy wheels, ventilated second-row seats, and Bose premium speakers.
Hyundai Motor Company is also expanding the application of intelligent safety technologies from the base trim of the 2027 Palisade.
On the Exclusive trim of the 2027 Palisade, Hyundai Motor Company has made the 12.3-inch large cluster, panoramic curved display, forward collision-avoidance assist, and highway driving assist standard.
The 2027 Palisade is priced at 44.78 million won for the gasoline 9-seater Exclusive, 50.40 million won for H-Pick, 52.11 million won for XRT, 56.06 million won for Calligraphy, 57.67 million won for Calligraphy Black Ink, and 72.44 million won for the high roof model. For the gasoline 7-seater, prices are 46.10 million won for Exclusive, 52.03 million won for H-Pick, 53.82 million won for XRT, 58.07 million won for Calligraphy, 59.77 million won for Calligraphy Black Ink, and 75.30 million won for the high roof model.
The 2027 Palisade hybrid is priced at 50.77 million won for the 9-seater Exclusive, 56.40 million won for H-Pick, 62.06 million won for Calligraphy, 63.67 million won for Calligraphy Black Ink, and 78.44 million won for the high roof model. For the 7-seater, after applying eco-friendly vehicle tax benefits, prices are 51.40 million won for Exclusive, 58.32 million won for H-Pick, 64.36 million won for Calligraphy, 66.06 million won for Calligraphy Black Ink, and 81.59 million won for the high roof model.
