Kia to Showcase Future Mobility for Three Days at COEX, Bringing PV5, EV3 and EV5 Together

[Financial News] Kia said it will unveil its electrified lineup at EV Trend Korea 2026, which runs from the 25th to the 27th at COEX in Seoul's Gangnam District.
The exhibition, hosted by the Ministry of Climate, Energy and Environment, aims to promote the mass adoption of electric vehicles and spread new mobility culture. First held in 2018, it marks its ninth edition this year. Kia has participated every year since 2019, introducing new models and technologies.
Kia will display three models at this year's event: the Kia PV5 Passenger, the Kia EV3 GT-Line and the Kia EV5 GT-Line.
The Kia PV5 Passenger on display is the seven-seat, 2-2-3 version of the newly launched PV5 lineup, which debuted on the 3rd. It stands out for its spacious cabin, which can accommodate seats through the third row. The second-row seats are positioned close together to make it easier for third-row passengers to get in and out. The second and third rows are equipped with separate manual air conditioning, heated seats and USB Type-C ports, making the vehicle suitable for family outings as well as leisure use.
The Kia EV3 GT-Line is a compact SUV built on Kia's dedicated electric platform. It combines strong product appeal for its size with a dynamic design. In particular, it is the first Hyundai Motor Group model to feature i-Pedal 3.0, which allows drivers to activate i-Pedal before regenerative braking begins, improving convenience. It also supports Vehicle-to-Load (V2L), enabling power use both inside and outside the vehicle.
The Kia EV5 GT-Line is a family-oriented electric vehicle with a traditional SUV shape. Its spacious cabin, larger than that of existing compact electric vehicles, is a key strength. It comes standard with acceleration limit assist, which helps prevent sudden acceleration, and pedal misapplication safety assist. It also features an extended center console and a Pet Mode for traveling with pets, setting it apart for family customers.
The exhibition hall will also feature a range of interactive experiences. A space called "Match Your EV Lineup" will let visitors learn about the strengths of Kia's dedicated electric vehicles through a card game format. Kia will also run the "PV5 3D Visualizer," which allows users to simulate various PV5 derivatives and explore the interior and exterior in 3D. In addition, the mission-style game "PV5 Seat Challenge" will task participants with seating seven characters in the PV5 Passenger within a set time limit, offering a fun way to experience the seven-seater's space efficiency.
A Kia official said, "We plan to showcase an electric vehicle lineup that covers a wide range of customer lifestyles at this event." The official added, "We will make sure visitors can experience Kia's mobility vision not only by viewing the vehicles, but also through hands-on content."
