Magnitude 2.5 Earthquake Strikes Waters off Incheon’s Baengnyeongdo... "No Damage Expected"

At around 8:55 p.m. on the 24th, a magnitude 2.5 earthquake struck waters near Baengnyeongdo in Incheon’s Ongjin County.
According to the Korea Meteorological Administration, the quake occurred at 8:55:52 p.m. in waters 35 km south-southwest of Baengnyeongdo in Incheon’s Ongjin County. The epicenter was located at 37.66 degrees north latitude and 124.54 degrees east longitude, with a depth of 17 km.
The maximum instrumental intensity was observed at level I. The Korea Meteorological Administration said it expected no damage from the earthquake.
