Ferrari Unveils Its First Pure Electric Sports Car, 'Ferrari Luce,' in South Korea for the First Time

Ferrari Luce was developed with the goal of expanding the brand's reach through electrification, rather than simply replacing the existing powertrain. It features independent electric motors on all four wheels and a large 122 kWh battery, delivering a combined output of 1,050 horsepower. It can accelerate from a standstill to 100 km/h in 2.5 seconds.
The body adopts a four-door, five-seat layout for the first time in Ferrari's history. The trunk offers 597 liters of space, and the latest active suspension system, 'ASC 3.0,' was applied to make it suitable for both sporty driving and everyday family use.
The design was completed in collaboration with LoveFrom, the creative studio led by Jony Ive and Marc Newson. Ferrari said the exterior, interior and digital interface were unified under a single design language to highlight a restrained sense of form.
Inside, the car is equipped with an organic light-emitting diode (OLED) display jointly developed with Samsung Display Co., Ltd. It has been applied to the driver's instrument cluster, the center control panel and the rear-seat control panel. The display uses a layered structure combining 12.9-inch and 12-inch panels. Three large cutouts reveal information from the second screen behind the upper panel, creating a three-dimensional visual effect.
Thibault Dussart, CEO of Ferrari Korea, said, "South Korea is an important market that understands both cultural heritage and advanced technology." He added, "It is meaningful to present the brand's first pure electric vehicle, which will mark a turning point in Ferrari's history, to Korean customers."
He also noted, "Our collaboration with Samsung Display Co., Ltd., which has world-class display technology, demonstrates the perfect synergy between technology and luxury design."
